Job summary

ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful Personal Care Assistants to work 1:1 with our Recipients in clients' homes across Southeast Michigan.

You will support, encourage and help with skill-building activities, and accompany recipients into the community to grow personal goals beyond the home. We offer full and part-time positions, paid training, a flexible schedule, weekly pay, and a virtual interview process to get you started.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 personal care in clients' homes.
• Support, encourage and help with skill-building activities.
• Take recipients into the community to support goals beyond the home.
• Follow individual care plans and document important changes if required.
