Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers seeks a dedicated team member to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a safe, clean store environment. You will assist the department manager in meeting sales and profit targets while upholding our Customer 1st strategy and core values of respect, integrity, and safety.

You will handle stressful situations gracefully, communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and apply basic math for cash handling and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum: ability to handle stressful situations.
• Minimum: effective communication skills.
• Minimum: knowledge of basic math; counting, addition, and subtraction.
• Desired: Retail experience.
• Desired: Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing).
• Desired: ability to answer questions about products and make recommendations.
