Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers is looking for a team member to deliver exceptional customer service in a safe, clean store environment. You will help ensure the customer’s return visits by upholding respect, integrity, and inclusivity.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, sorting and stocking merchandise, applying price labels, and building displays while following all company policies and shrink guidelines. A professional attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous comparable experience required.
• Demonstrate a professional demeanor and positive attitude in front of customers and fellow employees.
• Respond to customer questions and requests in a courteous and helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks (Dairy, Frozen, Grocery, etc.).
• Sort merchandise from pallets into store areas.
• Load merchandise onto carts for stocking shelves, in back room or on sales floor.
• Read shelf and merchandise labels and attach price labels manually.
• Stock shelves and build special displays on the sales floor.
• Operate a pallet-jack, stacker or straddle stacker when needed.
