Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a retailer associate in Anchorage to maintain check stand ends, displays, and gift card zones while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will manage merchandise replenishment, CAO minimums, and inventory controls, ensuring pricing accuracy and compliance with company standards. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass a drug test, and flexibility for weekends or overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus six months company experience and 1–2 years related retail experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Occasional weekends/graveyard shifts; overtime as needed.
• Lift truck certification/license.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Order merchandise and maintain/stock all clips/swing items, power panels and gift cards per schematic.
• Verify CAO orders are complete.
• Perform RMS requests.
• Coordinate with HBA and GRO Order Clerk to set CAO minimums for Impulse Items.
• Comply with stockroom maintenance standards.
• Order and maintain displays for cross-over merchandise.
• Order off-shelf merchandise.
• Maintain compliance with signing, recovery, shrink controls, merchandising standards, ticketing standards, planograms, and composites.
• Receive and process freight.
• Perform inventory control functions.
• Verify promotions are set to standard.
• Conduct stock counts.
• Maintain On Hands for Replenishment and CAO items.
• Process product deletions.
• Verify pricing accuracy.
• Comply with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow Company initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of overstock/understock to keep ordering integrity.
• Respond to verbal customer comments/complaints.
• Maintain compliance of EAS standards.
• Verify all planograms are completed on time.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
