Job summary

The Kroger Co. in Caldwell, Idaho is seeking a store associate to maintain displays, stock merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service at the location. You will model the company values while ensuring accuracy of planograms and pricing.

The role supports CAO/RMS processes, freight processing, and inventory control. It requires reliability, attention to detail, ability to work weekends, and the capacity to pass a background check. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of six months company experience and one-two years related retail experience; or combination of relevant education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass drug test.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work weekends/graveyard shifts on an occasional basis, early shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Accuracy/attention to detail.
• Proficiency with company email.
• Lift truck certification/license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
• Order merchandise and maintain/stock all clips/swing (strips), power panels and check stand ends, crossovers and gift cards per schematic.
• Verify Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) orders are complete.
• Perform Replenishment Management System (RMS) requests.
• Coordinate with HBA and GRO Order Clerk to establish Minimums in Computer Assisted Ordering (CAO) for Impulse Items.
• Comply with stockroom maintenance standards.
• Order and maintain displays for cross-over merchandise.
• Order off-shelf merchandise.
• Maintain compliance with divisional signing, recovery, shrink control guidelines, merchandising standards, ticketing standards, planograms, and composites.
• Receive and process freight.
• Perform inventory control functions.
• Verify promotions are set to standard.
• Conduct stock counts.
• Maintain accurate On Hands for Replenishment and CAO items.
• Process product deletions.
• Verify pricing integrity.
• Comply with corporate policies.
• Promote and follow Company initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of overstock/understock conditions to maintain ordering system integrity.
• Respond to verbal customer comments/complaints.
• Maintain compliance of EAS standards.
• Verify all planograms are completed on time.
