Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in the United States (Gurnee, IL). You will guide store guests, create excitement around Ashley’s home furnishings, and help customers design rooms they will love. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role with opportunities for commissions and bonuses.

You will provide world-class service at the front desk, process sales and financing paperwork, and strive to exceed sales goals while maintaining brand standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, tug, and pull 25 lbs.
• 1 year customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service experience for every customer and guest.
• Process sales orders accurately and adhere to cash handling protocols.
• Assist customers with credit applications and financing matters.
• Address customer concerns independently when possible.
• Assist with store opening/closing activities and daily checklists.
• Support inventory management and loss prevention procedures.
