160 Driving Academy is seeking a CDL Class A Instructor Trainer to coach students from pre-trip inspections through CDL testing. Based at a designated yard, you’ll work with a team of instructors and a Lead Instructor, with occasional coverage at other yards.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a CDL Class A driver.
• Experience teaching or training drivers.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work with yard-based teams.

Responsibilities

• Teach Class A driving skills in yards and on-road.
• Guide students through pre-trip inspections and yard maneuvers.
• Maintain training records and progress documentation.
• Collaborate with Lead Instructor and regional yards.
• Ensure attendance and student progress tracking.
• Cover for other instructors as needed.
• Support yard upkeep and safety standards.
