Job summary

HopeSource in Ellensburg, WA is seeking a motivated Energy Conservation Coordinator to promote energy conservation among low-income families in Kittitas County. You will work with clients directly, conduct in-home visits, and teach skills to save on energy bills while ensuring a warm and safe place to live.

The role blends building science, weatherization, environmental education and HopeSource’s Whole Person Care model.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate energy conservation program activities.
• Conduct in-home education visits and implement energy-saving measures.
• Assist with home energy audits/inspections.
• Create/maintain/verify files and compile reports; perform data input for multiple programs.
• Plan outreach activities to encourage participation in HopeSource programs.
• Conduct client intakes and process program payments.
• Develop and distribute conservation education materials to clients and the public.
• Evaluate program success through surveys and feedback; support weatherization staff with daily tasks.
