Job summary

U.S. Renal Care in Monterey, CA seeks a Home Therapy Registered Nurse to train patients and support home dialysis modalities. You will deliver quality care and superior service in all interactions.

Responsibilities include home visits, assessments, EMR documentation, infection control, and on-call coverage. Requires an active RN license and CPR, with strict state compliance and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in applicable state.
• 12 months of clinical nursing experience; 3 months in home dialysis modality.
• CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment.
• Ability to communicate in English and use basic computer skills.
• Meet state practice requirements and background criteria as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Train patients and care partners in self-care peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis.
• Conduct home visits to assess environment and patient performance.
• Document nursing services in the EMR and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in infection control monitoring and emergency procedures.
• Manage clinic and patient supply inventory and place orders timely.
• Provide on-call nursing coverage nights and weekends as needed.
