Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Worcester, MA seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Home Therapies CAP 1 program to coordinate dialysis care at home. You will assess, plan and implement treatment, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and a willingness to participate in rotating shifts, on-call coverage, and travel to training sites.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN for Nephrology Nursing with less than 2 years experience
• Minimum 12 months RN experience
• Home dialysis therapy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients
• Collect and analyze dialysis data, adjust treatment plans as needed and document in medical records
• Educate patients and families about home dialysis training and treatment options
• Deliver safe, effective home dialysis therapy in collaboration with patients, partners and staff
• Administer prescribed medications and document outcomes
• Engage in emergencies and participate in staff training and orientation
• Ensure proper lab collection, processing and shipping and track patient outcomes

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state RN licensure

CPR BLS certification
