Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Home Therapy Registered Nurse to provide care and educate patients on home dialysis therapy. This entry-level position requires a graduate from an accredited nursing school with a focus on nephrology nursing.

The RN will engage in direct patient care, train patients on dialysis equipment, and participate in an on-call rotation. Candidates with previous experience in home therapy are preferred, and all necessary training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Home dialysis therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for patients.
• Direct and provide dialysis therapy to assigned patients.
• Educate patients and families regarding home dialysis therapy.
