Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes, educating patients on proper use and ensuring safe operation with high-quality customer service.

Join a flagship Phoenix Metro team with a supportive environment, on-call rotation, and a stable schedule. You will work closely with patients and family members to promote safety and independence in daily living.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one-year of related work experience is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.
• English reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and set-ups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life-sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
