Job summary

Accendra Health delivers, sets up, and picks up durable medical equipment in patient homes, educating patients on proper use and safety. The role requires lifting up to 160 lbs, delivering to homes, and providing compassionate customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment ranging from 10 lbs – 160 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
• Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
• Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
• Offer a high level of customer service and support to patients who may rely on this equipment for life‑sustaining needs.
• Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
• Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
• Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
• Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
• Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
• Perform routine vehicle checks.
• Support additional duties as assigned.
