Job summary

Casey’s in McPherson, KS is hiring a Field Maintenance Technician to service HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems across 12-15 stores. You’ll travel to stores in the territory and complete repairs, installations, and routine maintenance with a company-provided vehicle and tools.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades.
• Prior experience with installing and repairing electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment and parts.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal and written instruction.
• Must have the ability to respond and adjust to changing or new situations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems, using judgement to determine how to repair or replace.
• Repair and maintain equipment and building electrical wiring, plumbing, refrigeration, and fuel devices.
• Use instruments to test and evaluate performance of equipment; repair or replace defective valves, thermostats, and other parts.
• Install electrical equipment, and repair or replace wiring, fixtures, and bulbs.
• Complete service documentation on what was installed, replaced, or repaired after each call. Reports must be accurately completed and submitted upon completion of job.
