As a Field Maintenance Technician, you'll work in a designated set of stores completing service and maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical and fuel systems, and general building maintenance. Territory includes 12-15 stores in McPherson, KS and surrounding areas. If you don't currently live in the area mentioned, relocation assistance may be provided.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose equipment problems, using judgement to determine how to repair or replace.
• Repair and maintain equipment and building electrical wiring, plumbing, refrigeration, and fuel devices.

Compensation

Starting hiring range: $25.50 - $33.50. Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the typical hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades.
• Prior experience with installing and repairing electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment and parts.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 or Universal Certification required or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire date.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal and written instruction.
• Must have the ability to respond and adjust to changing or new situations.
• Work well in high stress environments and maintain professionalism.
• Must have excellent guest services skills.
• Work is primarily performed in a store setting.
• Travel with overnight stays required 20% to 40% of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and physical ability to drive vehicle for job related travel.
