Job summary

Casey’s is hiring a Field Maintenance Technician to service a defined set of stores in Dale, IN and surrounding areas. You’ll handle HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, and fuel systems, with a company vehicle and tools provided.

You’ll avoid nights and weekends, and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid leave, 401(k) match, uniform allowance, and paid overtime. Relocation assistance may be offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in building and mechanical trades.
• Experience with installing and repairing electrical systems, plumbing, and refrigeration equipment and parts.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• EPA Type 1 and 2 or Universal Certification required or within 180 days of hire date.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal communication, and guest service skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and verbal and written instruction.
• Ability to respond and adjust to changing or new situations.
• Work well in high stress environments and maintain professionalism.
• Travel with overnight stays required 20% to 40% of the time.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive for job travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose equipment problems and determine repair or replacement.
• Repair and maintain electrical wiring, plumbing, refrigeration, and fuel devices.
• Test equipment performance and replace defective components.
• Install electrical equipment and repair wiring, fixtures, and bulbs.
• Complete service documentation after each call and submit reports.
