Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver for Fall River, MA. Earn approximately $70,000 per year with a $5,000 bonus on a dedicated local frozen grocery shuttle account, with home daily and no NYC deliveries.

Shuttle loads move between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford or West Haven, CT. Expect 5–10 runs per day, drop-and-hook freight, and potential store deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• 3+ months verifiable Class A CDL experience.

Responsabilités

CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver - Fall River, MA

Earn approximately $70,000 per year with a $5,000 bonus on a dedicated local frozen grocery shuttle account. Enjoy home daily, drop-and-hook freight, no-touch shuttles, and no NYC deliveries.

Main Yard / Starting Location

• Fall River, MA
• 485 Commerce Dr
• Drivers start and finish each day at the Fall River yard
• Supports the Westfield, MA frozen grocery facility

Pay Details

• $70,000 average annual pay
• Approximately $1,346 average weekly pay
• $5,000 bonus
• $0.50-0.54 CPM
• Approximately 500 miles per week

Job Details

• Dedicated frozen grocery shuttle account
• Shuttle frozen grocery loads between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford, CT or West Haven, CT
• Drop & hook and no-touch shuttle freight
• Typically 5-10 shuttle runs per day, with a minimum of 3 required
• May also handle trailer moves, store transfers, and local backhauls
• No NYC deliveries for shuttle drivers
• Store deliveries may be required as needed and typically involve 2-3 stops
• May assist with other local/intermodal accounts
• Electric pallet jack may be used for store deliveries
• Occasional return product and backhaul pickups

Shift Details

• Home daily
• Local shuttle operation
• Holiday work required when the account is operating and it falls on the driver's scheduled day
• Thanksgiving and Christmas are listed as off; New Year's is not guaranteed

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
