Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for home-daily, Sunday-Thursday shifts in the Chambersburg area. You will service local customers and CSX railyards with 2–5 loads daily, operating both manual and automatic trucks, with trucks kept at the Chambersburg terminal.

Onboard ramp training pays $200/day, with a $10,000 bonus and a robust benefits package: medical after 30 days, 18 paid days off initially (12 PTO, 6 holidays) with increases over tenure.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• Hazmat fingerprinting costs reimbursed up to $60.
• Receipts required for reimbursement.
• Endorsement on CDL after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Service local customers with daily start and return to the Chambersburg terminal.
• Priority loading/unloading at CSX railyards; 2–5 loads per day depending on haul length.
• Operate both manual and automatic trucks; slip-seat operation.
• Trucks stationed at Chambersburg; ramp training begins after onboarding; 4 days on-site orientation.
