Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to join our team. Earn an average annual gross pay of $86,400 with a $10,000 bonus while working a Sunday-Thursday schedule and home daily.

You'll run about 1,500 miles per week with ramp loading at CSX railyards, and 10–11 hour shifts starting around 3:00 AM. Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days; we reimburse costs and provide ramp training on-site.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable CDL-A experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire.
• HAZMAT threat assessment and fingerprinting costs reimbursed up to $60.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Service local customers from the Chambersburg terminal.
• Operate ~1,500 miles per week.
• Priority loading/unloading at CSX rail yards.
• 2–5 loads per day depending on haul length.
• Operate across Chambersburg, Harrisburg, and Baltimore rail yards.
• No NYC routes.
