Job summary

Herman N Logistics is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver to haul rail-container freight in Southern California with no-touch freight and a home-daily schedule. The role includes a Friday–Tuesday shift and an average of about 900 miles per week, with a $5,000 bonus and potential earnings growth over time.

Compensation features an estimated average annual pay around $83,000, with extra incentives such as a $3/day increase after one year and up to $36/day depending on increases, plus per-load

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL driver’s license
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical Card
• Hazmat endorsement not required at hire
• Hazmat endorsement reimbursed if obtained

Responsibilities

• Deliver rail-container freight from South Gate ramp/terminal to customers throughout Southern California
• Occasional Central Valley deliveries (Bakersfield, Lost Hills, Maricopa, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo)
• Mix of drop/hook and live load/unload
• Pick up empty containers and return them to the South Gate ramp/terminal; optional 6th day for extra income
