Job summary

Salt City Trucking in California is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for home-daily duties hauling rail-container freight on Southern California routes with no-touch loads. You’ll work a Friday–Tuesday schedule with 10–12 hour days, starting between 2 PM and 7 PM, returning home daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Hazmat endorsement not required at hire; reimbursed if obtained.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rail-container freight from the South Gate ramp to customers across Southern California.
• Occasional Central Valley deliveries (Bakersfield, Lost Hills, Maricopa, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo).
• Mix of drop/hook and live load/unload with no-touch freight.
• Pick up empty containers and return them to the South Gate ramp/terminal.
• Optional 6th day for additional income.
