Job summary

Salt City Trucking in Illinois hires CDL-A drivers for local intermodal work with home daily. Expect about $75,000 per year, a $10,000 bonus, and weekly pay around $1,442. 6:00 PM start, Monday–Friday, hazmat within 90 days, and paid training support your earnings.

Truck equipment stays at the yard, and you’ll accrue PTO and holidays after start. 100% no-touch freight with daily Chicago rail yard detours and steady schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and a clean driving record.
• DOT medical card is required.
• Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience with intermodal or container yards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport intermodal containers to Chicago rail yards daily.
• Operate in a 100% no-touch freight environment.
• Maintain safe, on-time deliveries and adhere to schedule.
