Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Fleet CDL Driver to transport materials to our locations across the state. This full-time role offers a salary-based pay with bonus opportunities and a focus on safety and customer service at loading and delivery sites.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, flatbed experience, and the ability to comply with DOT regulations. Benefits include health/dental/vision after 30 days, life insurance, a 401(k) match, vacation, and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience required.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply DOT regulations and company policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• DOT pre-employment screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations in a safe and timely manner.
• No touch freight; loading/unloading with a forklift.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and tarping as needed.
