Job summary

Carter Lumber seeks a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to various locations in a safe, timely manner. This full-time role features salary-based pay with opportunity for bonuses and a friendly, customer-service oriented environment.

You’ll operate well-maintained equipment, load/unload with a forklift, and adhere to DOT regulations. Flatbed experience and a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record are required. No-touch freight is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to multiple locations in a safe, timely manner.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and occasionally tarp products; no touch freight.
• Load and unload with a forklift; follow DOT regulations and company policies.
