Job summary

Carter Lumber is seeking a Shuttle CDL Delivery Specialist to transport materials to locations across the state in a safe, timely manner. This full-time role offers a salary-based pay structure with bonus opportunities and a strong customer-service component at loading and delivery sites.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, flatbed experience, and familiarity with DOT regulations. You will secure loads, sometimes tarp products, and operate loading/unloading with a forklift in a no-touch

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Flatbed experience is required.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to locations safely and on schedule.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service at loading and delivery sites.
• Secure loads and occasionally tarp products.
• No-touch freight; load/unload with a forklift.
• Service multiple locations across the state; operate a salary-based pay with bonuses.
