Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring CDL-A delivery drivers to transport and unload food products to customers. Routes are home daily with early morning dispatches and variable hours depending on schedule and DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include safety checks, on-time deliveries, customer interactions, and accurate paperwork. Competitive pay with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.
• Able to lift/move freight up to 90 lb with/without equipment.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers and coworkers professionally.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT guidelines.
• Drives tractor/trailer and delivers customer orders on schedule.
• Verifies delivery with customers and collects signatures when required.
• Unloads products and moves them to designated storage areas.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs as required.
