Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an experienced CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products to customers. The role involves early morning routes, interstate and intrastate travel, and delivering on-time while maintaining DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck per DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections and report issues.
• Deliver and unload products to customers on schedule.
• Secure freight and ensure proper paperwork is completed.
• Record hours and maintain logs per regulations.
• Complete required daily housekeeping and end-of-shift tasks.
