Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring delivery drivers who will work Home Daily with a Monday–Friday schedule. The role offers an average annual pay of $70,000–$80,000 and requires a CDL-A license, 21+ years of age, and a clean MVR.

Benefits include day-one health and wellness, 401K matching, stock purchase plan, education assistance, and paid time off. Drivers will operate tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver food and related products, follow DOT regulations, and maintain safety checks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Meets state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain one.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform safety checks and DOT-required inspections of tractor/trailer.
• Ensure freight is loaded, secured and paperwork is legible and accurate.
• Deliver orders to customers on a scheduled route and obtain signatures.
• Unload products and assist with returns as required.
• Maintain daily hours-of-service records per DOT and company rules.
