Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a route delivery driver to support America’s food distribution system. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products to customers on a scheduled cadence and in alignment with DOT rules.

Key responsibilities include safe vehicle operations, accurate paperwork, friendly customer service, and adhering to company safety policies.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL A license.
• Clean MVR for the past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card on file or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers; answers questions accurately and promptly.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
• Performs pre/post-trip inspections and ensures vehicle meets safety standards.
• Delivers and unloads products to customers according to established routes.
• Completes required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Respects routes and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
