Position Responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall operation of the residential facility, advocating for increased growth and development of the residents. Provide care and supervision of assigned residents.
• Supervise all residential support staff and maintain and upkeep the physical site.
• Ensure that each resident has a comprehensive individualized service plan, updated and implemented on a timely basis.
• Coordinate the daily operations of the site to ensure a safe, healthy and pleasant environment where residents can learn and develop independently.
• Participate in planning and development of systems to maintain the site with regular audits and licensing requirements. Provide special interim and summary reports.
• Oversee medication administration consistent with residents' self-medication plans, following State and Agency regulations, ensure adequate medication supply, review related forms and conduct medication counts before and after community visits.
• Report to work during emergencies, including inclement weather.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Human Services or a closely related field, or equivalent experience in MH/MR.
• At least two to four years of prior supervisory experience.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, fold, kneel, reach, stack, stoop and bend, including direct intervention with residents.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
