The Iowa Finance Authority in Des Moines, IA, invites applications for a HOME Compliance Officer who will administer HUD-funded housing programs, review applications, monitor compliance, and support project oversight across HOME, HOME-ARP, and NHTF.

You will collaborate with grantees, HUD officials, and internal partners to analyze data, improve processes, and ensure regulatory adherence, contributing to Iowa communities.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree, and experience equal to three years of full-time work in investigative or closely related work which involved interpretation/enforcement of laws or quality assurance.
• Graduation from accredited school of law.

Aufgaben

• Review applications and maintain project data; provide technical assistance and guidance to applicants and grantees.
• Evaluate applications and prepare documentation for HOME, HOME-ARP, NHTF and cross-cutting requirements.
• Coordinate with project sponsors, HUD officials, developers, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule.
• Support contract preparation, draw requests, construction progress tracking, and program closeout and reporting.

Four-year degree + 3 years investigative/closely related work

Four-year degree + 3 years professional-level work enforcing laws/policies

Law degree

Total seven years education/experience combining coursework and experience
