Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide in-home support for seniors and adults, helping them live safely and independently in their own homes throughout Medford and surrounding Rogue Valley communities.

You will assist with personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and transportation while following individual care plans and documenting daily notes. Training is provided; a supportive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Successfully pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID.
• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transportation as needed.
• Ensure safety supervision and peace of mind.
• Follow care plans and document daily notes using the mobile app.

About the Role

As a Right at Home Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, in-home support that enables seniors and vulnerable adults to continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their homes.

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with mobility and transportation.
• Safety supervision and peace of mind.
• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.
• Communicating effectively with our office team.

Skills & Experience

Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential. We provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed.
