Job summary

Right at Home is seeking a compassionate in-home Caregiver to help seniors and adults with disabilities live safely and independently at home.

You will perform personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and companionship, while following individual care plans and using our mobile app to document notes. Strong communication with the office team is essential for coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Background check required.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous caregiving experience welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Offer companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders as needed.
• Assist with mobility and transportation.
• Ensure safety and maintain client well-being.
• Document daily care notes and communicate with the office via mobile app.

About the Role

As a Right at Home Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, in-home support that enables seniors and vulnerable adults to continue living safely and independently in the comfort of their homes.

• Providing personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Building meaningful relationships through companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting with mobility and transportation.
• Safety supervision and peace of mind.
• Following individual care plans and accurately documenting daily care notes using our mobile app.
• Communicating effectively with our office team.

Skills & Experience

• Successfully pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation and valid ID.
• Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Previous caregiving experience, CNA, PCA, HHA, or companion care experience is welcomed but not essential. We provide ongoing training and support to help you succeed.
