Job summary

Minds Matter LLC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan and provide therapeutic interventions for individuals with acquired brain injuries, with a focus on communication goals in home and community settings.

You will administer evaluations, develop exercise programs, coordinate with case managers and family, maintain timely documentation, and contribute to ongoing program improvement through evidence-based practices and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Speech Language Pathology program from an accredited university.
• Must be eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Experience with people with disabilities is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Administer speech and language evaluations.
• Develop speech exercise programs.
• Consult with and refer consumers to additional medical or educational services.
• Test and evaluate consumers’ abilities and analyze data to determine best methods.
• Maintain and turn in documentation on schedule.
• Provide education to families about communication strategies and progress.
• Collaborate with case managers to align goals and services.
• Schedule supervision meetings with therapy coordinator bi-monthly.
