Job summary

Minds Matter LLC is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate, plan and provide therapy for individuals with acquired brain injury. You will design speech exercises, consult with medical and educational teams, and educate families on communication strategies.

Responsibilities include CFY-eligible clinical practice, collaborating with care teams, and ensuring thorough documentation. Remote/home-based work with community-based service delivery is expected.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Speech Language Pathology program from an accredited university.
• Must be currently eligible for the Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Experience working with people with disabilities is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Administer speech and language evaluations.
• Develop speech exercise programs and therapy plans.
• Consult with and refer consumers to additional medical or educational services.
• Assist individuals to identify needs and compensation techniques for brain injury consequences.
• Test and evaluate abilities and analyze medical data to determine best therapy methods.
• Educate consumer and family about communication strategies and therapy progress.
• Coordinate with case managers to ensure goals are met and progress is documented.
• Maintain documentation and reports in a timely, legible manner.
