Job summary

Minds Matter, LLC is seeking a speech-language pathologist to evaluate, plan, and provide therapeutic intervention for individuals with acquired brain injury in home and community settings.

You will administer evaluations, develop speech programs, and collaborate with families and case managers to meet individualized goals. This role emphasizes evidence-based practice and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Speech Language Pathology Program from an accredited university.
• Must be currently eligible for the Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Experience working with people with disabilities is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Administer speech and language evaluations.
• Develop speech exercise programs.
• Consult with and refer consumers to additional medical or educational services.
• Identify consumer needs and develop compensation techniques.
• Test and evaluate consumers’ abilities; analyze medical data.
• Recommend changes in work or living environments to suit needs.
• Evaluate progress and prepare reports detailing progress.
• Educate consumer and family about communication techniques and strategies.
• Integrate goals into therapy and collaborate with case manager.
• Train personal care assistants on therapy needs.
• Provide services as designated on each plan of care.
• Maintain documentation and turn in reports on time.
• Attend trainings to stay up to date with best practices.
