Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Home & Community Neurorehabilitation Program in California. You will deliver 1:1 in-home therapy from first treatment through discharge, with a caseload of about 15-20 hours per week across three days.

Responsibilities include working independently while collaborating with OTs, PTs, SLPs and other specialists, documenting progress, and adapting treatment to real-life settings.

Qualificações

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support or CPR certification per state regulations.
• Minimum of one year PTA work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Provides physical therapy services planned, delegated and supervised by the qualified PT in accordance with the patient's Plan of Treatment.
• Confers with PT regularly regarding patient's plan of treatment, progress toward goals and concerns.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Reports any problems with department equipment to ensure proper maintenance.
• Communicates patient needs and progress to PT of record and assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve function.
• Maintains and submits patient treatment and billing documentation as required by applicable regulations.
• Adheres to the Company's Code of Conduct and applicable professional standards and laws.
• Attends staff development programs and continuing education as required.
