Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Austin, TX is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide patient-centered, community-based therapy. The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist to carry out treatment plans, support functional goals, and help clients regain independence in meaningful activities.

The role offers flexibility in scheduling, 1:1 therapy sessions, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Formación

• Current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of PTA experience preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injury.
• Strong communication and professional written/verbal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides PT services planned, delegated and supervised by the licensed Physical Therapist per the patient’s treatment plan.
• Regularly communicates with the Physical Therapist about progress, plan updates and concerns.
• Assists with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
• Reports equipment problems to ensure safe, functional operation.
• Communicates patient needs and progress to the PT and helps secure adaptive equipment when needed.
• Maintains patient treatment and billing documentation per company and regulatory timelines.
• Adheres to the company's policies, HIPAA, and professional standards.
• Attends internal trainings and ongoing education to maintain clinical skills.
