Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Orange County, California is seeking an experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home & Community Neuro Rehabilitation Program as a flexible, W2 PRN clinician. You will deliver planned therapy under supervision and support clients in real-world home and community settings.

The role emphasizes consistency of care, independence, and collaboration with OTs, PTs, SLPs, and other clinicians, with no weekends or holidays required and

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification as required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for neurological injuries.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provides PTA services planned, delegated and supervised by a Physical Therapist.
• Regularly communicates with the Physical Therapist about patient progress and plan of treatment.
• Maintains and cleans equipment and treatment areas.
• Documents patient treatment and billing in required formats and timelines.
• Assists in securing adaptive equipment to improve patient function.
• Adheres to company policies, laws and professional standards.
• Participates in staff development and continuing education.
