Job summary

Visiting Angels Senior Care in Hanover, PA is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver for a part-time role with opportunities for up to full-time hours. You will travel to client homes in Hanover, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Abbottstown and surrounding areas to provide non-medical assistance and companionship.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to communicate effectively with clients and staff. 1 year of caregiving preferred; CNA license is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years to apply.
• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening
• Valid Driver's License, proof of auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• CNA license preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home
• Issue medication reminders
• Conduct household errands and transport to doctor appointments
• Personal care and hygiene assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
• Provide mobility assistance (walking and transfers)
