Visiting Angels in Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time home care aide to help seniors in their homes across Hanover, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Abbottstown, and surrounding areas.

The role involves non-medical support, companionship, and assistance with daily activities, with flexible days, evenings, or night shifts. A driver’s license and background check are required, CNA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening.
• A valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Issue medication reminders.
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor's appointments.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance, such as assisting with walking and transfers.
