Job summary

Visiting Angels of Hanover is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support to seniors in Hanover, Spring Grove, New Oxford, Abbottstown, PA and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible scheduling with weekend options and travel to client homes.

Compensation includes a $500 sign-on bonus, competitive starting pay, 401K with company match, and voluntary healthcare plans. Prior caregiving experience preferred; CNA license is a bonus but not required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred
• Must be 18+ years old to apply
• Passing criminal background check and drug screening
• A valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required
• Positive attitude and proven track record of dependability
• Communicate effectively at all times with clients, peers, and supervisors
• CNA license preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical caregiving and companionship at home for seniors
• Issue medication reminders
• Conduct household errands and provide transportation to doctor’s appointments
• Personal care and hygiene assistance including bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Provide mobility assistance such as helping with walking and transfers
