Job summary

Visiting Angels of Brookfield, CT is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care and companionship for seniors in their homes in Brookfield, CT and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation assistance. Must be 18+, with 12 months caregiving experience; English literacy required. Training and travel within the area may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of caregiving experience.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Dementia experience preferred.
• Certified Nurse's Aide / HHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing and dressing.
• Help with errands and transportation to appointments.
• Perform grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older

• Must have reliable or personaltransportation
• Must Be Able to Speak and Read English
• Dementia Experience Preferred
• Certified Nurse's Aide / HHA preferred
• Ability to work in a facility environment preferred
