Job summary

Visiting Angels of Brookfield, CT is seeking caregivers for immediate overnight shifts. You will provide non-medical in-home care and companionship to seniors, assist with daily activities, and help with errands and transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 12 months of caregiving experience.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have reliable personal transportation.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Dementia experience preferred.
• CNA/HHA certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a facility environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.
• Help with personal care and hygiene, including bathing and dressing.
• Help with household tasks and transportation to appointments.
• Assist with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Monitor medication schedules and reminders throughout the day.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Providenon-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in theirhomes
