Job summary

Visiting Angels in Greenwich, CT, is seeking caregivers for one-on-one home care. Position offers competitive pay ranging from $17 to $20 per hour based on the shift and case.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/transfer patients of 125-195 lbs.
• Preferred experience with Hoyer Lift.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current PPD and physical required.

Position Responsibilities:

• Offer both companionship and non-medical support to seniors in their own homes
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and transfers
• Provide medication reminders
• Complete light housekeeping duties and meal preparation duties
• Perform grocery shopping and provide client with transportation to errands and doctor's appointments

Job Requirements:

• In need of both male and female caregivers who are able to lift/transfer patients of 125-195 lbs
• Hoyer Lift Experience Preferred
• Must be at least 18+ years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work within the United States
• Reliable transportation to work is required, valid driver's license preferred
• Must have current PPD and physical
• Self-directed, with the ability to work independently
• Alzheimer's/Dementia experience a plus

This position will require travel to Greenwich, CT and surrounding areas.
