Job summary

Visiting Angels Senior Care of Fairfield, CT is seeking caring individuals to join our team as in-home caregivers. You will provide companionship and non-medical support to local seniors, including personal care, light Housekeeping and transportation to appointments.

We offer flexible FT/PT/overnight/live-in roles, paid caregiver training and access to online CEU courses. Competitive pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour, with health plans for full-time caregivers and a supportive office staff.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Must be able to speak and read English.
• Dementia experience preferred.
• CNA/HHA preferred if available.
• Facility work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance including bathing and dressing.
• Help with errands and transportation to appointments.
• Grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders throughout the day.

Position Requirements:

• Certified Nurse's Aide / HHA preferred


• Ability to work in a facility environment preferred
