Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care to seniors in Fairfield, CT. This role offers competitive pay, flexible schedules, and supportive office staff.

Responsibilities include companionship, personal care, errand assistance, meal prep, and light housekeeping. Travel to surrounding communities may be required.

Qualifications

• 6 months of caregiving experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must Be Able to Speak and Read English.
• Dementia Experience Preferred.
• Certified Nurse's Aide / HHA preferred.
• Ability to work in a facility environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors in their homes.
• Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing and dressing.
• Help with household errands and provide transportation to and from appointments.
• Perform grocery shopping, meal preparation tasks, and light housekeeping.
• Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders throughout the day.
