Job summary

Senior Community Care of Michigan PACE is seeking a Caregiver in Lansing, MI. This role supports frail elderly participants with ADLs and daily activities in a compassionate, community-focused setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of elderly-care experience. Medical clearance and immunizations are required before direct contact with participants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and transportation.
• Minimum of one year experience with the frail and elderly population.
• Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations before direct participant contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with non-skilled ADLs in home and Day Center (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Support non-skilled restorative and supportive care (ambulating, transferring, skin and personal care).
• Assist with IADLs (grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, meal prep, etc.).
• Support Day Center activities including meal service and clean-up.
