Senior Helpers in Berwyn, Illinois is seeking a Spanish-speaking caregiver to provide in-home non-medical assistance and companionship. You will engage clients in daily activities, support personal care, and help with meals and mobility.

The role offers a supportive team, flexible schedule within Monday/Friday/Saturday 11 am-7 pm, paid overtime, mileage reimbursement, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401k.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional experience
• You are passionate about helping others
• Some Dementia training
• Okay with working with a Male client
• Schedule: Mondays, 11 am-7 pm; Fridays, 11 am-7 pm; and Saturdays, 11 am-7 pm
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients

Responsabilités

• Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
• Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
• Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
• Assist your clients with walking, dressing, personal care, and other daily activities of living
• Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
