Job summary

Right at Home Central Michigan is seeking a Scheduling Care Coordinator to manage high-volume scheduling and care coordination in a fast-paced home care setting. The role partners with care professionals, clients, and families to deliver exceptional, person-centered care experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities, and can train team members on scheduling protocols while maintaining accurate client records.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care administration or scheduling is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with scheduling software and care coordination workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule shifts, services, and resources for a seamless home care experience.
• Develop and maintain client care plans and caregiver scheduling; train new staff.
• Support caregiver recruitment, background checks, onboarding, and interviews as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of client information, shifts, and care plans; communicate with clients and families.
• Address scheduling conflicts, cancellations, and last-minute changes promptly and calmly.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on scheduling protocols and best practices.
